Eastern ornaments began coloring European houses when Nomads Restaurant opened in 2001. European women gave up salsa and began to take oriental dance lessons. And now Nomads comes to Istanbul with its unique style, brought to you by Su Entertainment Group…
Nomads presents a world of fairy tales behind its doors. Nomads is a European concept based on Eastern culture, bringing European style and flair to the interior and the cuisine. Result: An excellent place where you can as comfortable as you are in your own home yet still evoking the feeling of being a far away distant land. Everything in the restaurant is especially designed and produced in Morocco and Egypt. This makes every corner of Nomads unique and mystic, while at the same time being warm and familiar.
East meets West in Istanbul…
Nomads' design reflects a classical Arabic house. There is the Bahou, the entrance where Arabic people welcome their guests. A hostess welcomes you in the Bahou and lead you to enter El-Jarda, the secret garden decorated with flowers in an Arabic house. While you pass through the courtyard with the hostess, soft lights of exotic lamps fall on your face and you find yourself in the entrance stairs of Nomads. As you enter you pass Wast ad-der court, full of light, the beating heart of social life in the Arabic house and enter Al Kubbah, with mattresses and sofas where you can rest and eat. You lie on soft sofas like a king and if you wish, you sip your drink under spectacular lights of the bar, decorated with hundreds of handmade exotic Arabic lamps and begin daydreaming.
Nomads’ Special Kitchen
Nomads' menu is prepared by famous chefs. Authentic Arabic meals are fused with Western ingredients and cooking techniques. Your delight increases with amazing tastes and Nomads promises a perfect banquet with its unique menu. Plenty of mint, parsley, thyme, coriander, kermula (Moroccan spice) and tarragon is used in the dishes. The entire menu is made of diligently chosen fresh ingredients. Nomads sets your table with delicious cold appetizers, warm starters, main dishes and delicious desserts. When appetizers come together they form a small Arabic meal. Appetizers are offered in wide round copper trays with Lebanese and Iraqi breads, the choice is yours to make. Also included are chef’s specialties, which will be undoubtedly popular with guests. It is also possible to have open buffet or table service dinners and cocktails for special invitations.

Nomads has a wide selection of fine wines. There are many classics like Chablis, Sancerre and Möet & Chandon, as well as specialty wines from Northern Africa. All of the wines are especially chosen to be a perfect accompaniment to the food. Along with the fine wine selection, exciting cocktails also await.
Dance
There is a DJ cabin in Nomads’ domed room. In keeping with the Eastern style every day there is an exotic mix of slow to high rhythm Arabian music with strong Western influences.
Entertainment
Belly dancers, singers and surprise performances await you within Nomads’ walls.
